Have fun on your Easter egg hunts:
Enjoy your Easter ham, or lamb, or whatever you choose to eat. And don't forget dessert: Chocolate-covered snot eggs!
I know I posted this last year, but I still think it's none of Beulah's freaking business:
(Fortunately, a lot more often than Easter, thankyouverymuch.)
And finally, cute as it may be, please don't do this to your dog.
And don't even think about doing it to your cat. You'll probably lose an eye.
Happy Easter. :-)
We can always depend on you for snark, Erica. That pic of the Cadbury egg is as gross as you describe it. I ate one once and I will not do that again! LOL I had a dark chocolate fudge one and it was good. I can't find them this year. Only the yuk ones.
ReplyDeleteAnd, yes, do not put bunny ears on your cat! That will not work.
The DH will never ever get another cadbury egg if I have to buy it thanks to you . ;-)
ReplyDeleteAlready missed out this year. Isabella
Bobbie Jo -- you know what I love for Easter candy... five words. See's. Chocolate Buttercream. With Walnuts. (or pecans, but those are more difficult to find) Absolute perfection!
ReplyDeleteIsabella -- LOL... I'm sorry! I'm kind of a brat, huh. But I know he'll get other treats. :-)
I am not surprised to hear that you dislike Cadbury creme eggs. Food tastes are one thing we actually DON'T have in common. Lol. I made a Peeps cake today, I'm sure you would've gagged. ;-) Hope you had a nice weekend/ Easter!
ReplyDeleteLea -- you know, I recently read something about chocolate-mousse flavored Peeps. I think I could actually tolerate those! LOL
ReplyDeleteNice Erica, love peeps are they are and the best is leave them out for a while, they get nice and crusty!!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a nice Easter!
Always
Ron
Cadbury Eggs are one of the single most disgusting confections ever. I ALWAYS buy them for my (grown) kids, just go to get a groan out of them.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a wonderful Nondenominational Springtime Celebration yesterday!
Ron -- thank you for that imagery before breakfast.... :-)
ReplyDeleteCraig -- it was a nice quiet Sunday, no traffic, no crowds at brunch. You'd think it was a holiday or something.
Erica, I love the Beulah Baptist church sign. You might put it in another way. "Cum One, Cum All, And have a ball".
ReplyDeleteSix -- I don't think the Baptists would appreciate that spelling of "come." ;-)
ReplyDeleteErica, 'cum what may, I've had my say'.
DeleteThe sign could have also said. "A spanking a day, keeps the devil away".
DeleteHi Erica you are too funny lol I know a wonderful kitty that you could put those, bunny ear,s on my Mr.Moo. he wouldn't like it but he would never take someone's eye out hehehe LOL. YUCK I hate Cadbury creme eggs they are disgusting, For Easter I got chocolate bunnies and Reeses eggs YUM, please excuse my messed up writing I am doing this from my kindle fire HD. Much Love and hugs from naughty girl Jade
ReplyDeleteThank you, Erica! I will certainly let myself bne guided by your warnings regarding cats and dogs. I COULD try this at home, though. ;-)
ReplyDeleteOddly enough when I was a child over half a century ago I loved the painted chicken eggs the old Ukrainian lady next door used to give
ReplyDeleteus at Easter. Chocolate companies always seemed to use the lowest quality chocolate for the Easter Eggs.
John
Sitting here chuckling my rather large butt off ... Erica , you sooooooooo need spanked lololol
ReplyDeleteJade -- Moo would definitely look cute with bunny ears. :-)
ReplyDeleteMrJ -- at your own risk!
John -- not See's, though! Their Easter chocolate eggs are to die for.
D -- what else is new? :-)
Have never seen that brand in Australia. Chocolate I usually eat, not that I eat much of it, is a German 85% cocoa dark chocolate, Moser Roth.
ReplyDeleteJohn -- I've never heard of that one. Then again, I'm more of a milk chocolate girl.
ReplyDeleteI suppose it goes with my love of espresso coffee and single malt scotch.
ReplyDeleteJohn
Sounds like you and my John have similar tastes. He too likes very strong coffee, dark chocolate, red wine and strongly flavored microbrews. Me? I have a sissy palate. :-)
ReplyDeleteThen again I eat vanilla ice cream, usually with strawberries or rockmelon ( I think Americans call rockmelon canteloupe).
