I grant full credit for this entry to Alex Reynolds.
So last week, Alex tweeted out a "License to be Sassy." She thought it would be a good idea to print out several and pass them out at parties. I heartily agreed.
Cute, huh? OK, forget about that "probably illegal" part. It probably isn't.
Since I won't be going to a party until Labor Day, I couldn't wait. So I decided to make mine up now. I think it came out well, don't you?
I encourage all who are fluent in sass to print one of these babies out and add your own picture/information. That way, we'll all be able to claim that we have a license to say whatever we want. Now, all we have to do is hope the toppy tops don't put together some bogus "License to Spank" thing.
Ruminations, opinionated observations, darkly humorous blathering and the occasional rant from an outspoken kinkophile and unapologetic attention wh--, um, hog.

License? We don't need no stinkin' license.
ReplyDeleteThanks to Blazing Saddles, a movie of such appropriate name.
Anonymous -- I agree, we shouldn't need a license, but, ya know, CYA and all that. :-)
ReplyDeleteTops do not need any licence for anything, Erica. Especially not for responding to sassiness in whatever way they deem appropriate and effective.
ReplyDeleteMrJ -- I figured someone would say that. :-)
ReplyDeleteI am going to have to print one and see if it works. Unfortunately I think just having one in my possession my be considered sassy
ReplyDeleteHi Erica -- I agree that sassy license is so cute :-) I want one but I don't have a printer :-( Are you going to show yours to Steve? LOL :-) Much Love and hugs from naughty girl Jade
ReplyDeleteKB -- probably. :-)
ReplyDeleteJade -- he'll see it when he reads the blog, I guess! :-D
These are always fun. I'm going to have to go dig mine out of storage and start using it again. My friend and I made ours too many years ago to admit to, declaring us members of the schoolgirl brats guild.
ReplyDeleteMCW -- I honestly don't know if I'd print it out, but it's certainly fun to have handy in case I decide to. :-)
ReplyDeleteI always thought it would be fun to be able to print out a "Spanking - Do not disturb!" doorknob hanger for hotels.
ReplyDeleteSo I know what needs to be done, but not how to do it :) There needs to be a web page that you can go to, where you would be able to select from the Do Not Disturb, License to be Sassy, License to Spank templates (there might be others we haven't thought of yet) and then enter any customizations that were allowed for those templates.
What would happen then is that you'd either have an option to have a PDF of the final product emailed to you, or to download it directly from that web page. You'd need to print the badge or hanger on your printer, but it would be all set to go.
I'm sure some of the online photo services would allow that sort of thing now, but possibly have "content concerns". (You could have your badge on the side of a coffee cup, for example, if they would do it.) So, maybe the Fetlife premium members :) should be offered that incredible Kink Printables service?
Anonymous -- I like the way you think! I don't think the online photo services would have a problem with it; there is all kinds of spanko merchandise out there (ever go look at the t-shirts on Café Press?). But I don't think you'd find a hotel anywhere that would allow that sign on their doors... unless a spanking party bought out the entire hotel for a weekend and no other guests would see the sign.
